International Camp Re-design

It has been a few years since redesigning International Camps website but it definitely needed it.
It is always a good idea to tidy up a site or at least bring it up to date in some small way every so often. People get tired of seeing the same old site and want something new to look at.
It was time for International Camp to be renewed and also a lot of the dead wood to be cleared.
www.InternationalCamp.co.uk had a lot of pages and contained a full members management system as well as a shop. A lot of pages were not viewed that much during the year and so were removed and due to Social Networking sites such as My Space and Facebook most people were not using the Members system so this was removed also.
The shop has been closed but will reopen at the end of the next Camp to sell the newest Picture CD / DVD.
The new site is a lot less cluttered and uses style sheets to enable quick and easy updates.
Still based on our Content Manager System it is quick and easy to add new details and pages so when the shop is opened again later this year it will only take a few moments to update and start selling.
So far feedback has been good, and the site is using less bandwidth and getting more visitors so therefore costs less which is always good.
